With a broom in his hand, David Young got an early and humble start in kitchen design. He swept the floor of his father’s cabinet business when he was just five. It was just the beginning. Now, after decades of designing and installing kitchens, David has taken over the reigns at Sterling Design Center.


As a designer and installer, David knows the mechanical applications of each product. This translates to a well designed room where space, function and aesthetics flow.

Having spent his entire adult life in sales, Steve McCutcheon is the guy who can find you what you need. He has a lot of experience planning for “the backbone” of a project. Although much of his career was in technical sales and project management, Steve also spent a chunk of time at one of those other home improvement centers.

He brings that knowledge, which includes ordering windows and doors and designing pole barns, to Sterling Development Group.
